security holes, and download patches - including those to
protect against the vulnerability exploited by Sasser.

SASSER WORM HITS UK COASTGUARD NETWORK
The Sasser worm is said to have hit all 19 of the coastguard
control centres around the UK and the service's headquarters,
bringing IT systems to a halt and forcing officers to resort
to pen and paper.

MICROSOFT CALLS IN THE FBI AS HUNT FOR SASSER AUTHOR BEGINS
Microsoft has announced that it is working closely with law
enforcement agencies in an attempt to try and identify those
responsible for the widespread Sasser internet worm.
