Captaris Workflow 5.0 gives customers a clear migration path for enhanced business information by leveraging the rich Web services functionality of the Microsoft platform to deliver seamless integrations with RightFax enterprise fax and e-document delivery solutions, Microsoft Office System, Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies and now, Visual Studio .NET 2003.

Captaris Workflow 5.0 Key Features and Benefits
• Integration Improvements with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies 2003 – includes a new seamless user interface, the ability to install both a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services environment, dynamic Business Activity Monitoring inside of a flexible and Web part, and full workflow functionality in any SSL portal environment.
• New Templates – features 10 new templates covering vertical, horizontal and line of business real-world functionality, with five more being released each month. The sample templates provide practical insights into the product’s capabilities and help accelerate the development of the customer’s own customized workflow models.
• New Visual Studio .NET 2003 Integration – provides organizations with the ability to utilize Visual Studio.NET 2003 for developing and debugging workflows. Core drag and drop development capabilities still occur within the Captaris Workflow IDE, but coding and debugging can now occur within the Visual Studio 2003 IDE. Technical workers and managers will now have the ability to code in either Microsoft Visual C# .NET or Visual Basic .NET and have access to Visual Studio .NET’s robust Windows and Webform designer, and debugging capabilities to further accelerate model development cycles.

Pricing for a single Workflow server with full .NET-based IDE starts at $25,000. Pricing for a Wizard application for Microsoft SharePoint, CMS and RightFax is available for less than $10,000 per server.
