I receive the following message when shutting down vista - Invalid pointer operation the I receive Access violation at address 6df935f5 ???

Anyone know of a fix for this ??

Can you detail the error message exactly? There is too much missing information to begin to diagnose it right now....

Off hand, I'd say some item that you have running in the background is crashing when Vista tries to shut down....

The error messages were generated from the mailwasher program and stated as in the original post - Invalid pointer operation and then after I closed the box, it generated the following message - Access violation at address 6df935f5.

I removed mailwasher MailWasher Free 6.1.1.18 and reinstalled Mailwasher 5.1.0 and no problems at all.

Must be a program error in mailwasher 6 and vista.
