I have an issue with services.exe.... I noticed that it does hang the computer from time to time once in a while. I had a 30 gigs hard drive reformatted and installed w2k on it.

I have no idea what's causing the services.exe to hang on me...sometimes I think its cause I click too fast, when I load in a cd, etc

Can anybody shed on the services.exe issue?

and YES I do have AVG and Spybot which both are fully updated daily. Keep in mind its freshly installed on a reformatted hd. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. Seems I have "ALL" the updates including sp4. That should have fixed the problem otherwise...I have no idea what to do except wait 5 minutes for it to stop hog the ram.
