I'm new to this, so please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong section or not making much sense. I was referred here from someone for Firefox help.

My issue is that it seems that every time I go to search for something (I have yahoo search engine), the links pop up but if I click on them, sometimes it will send me to ANOTHER search engine with THEIR results. Or at other times, I'll get this error message; "Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact service provider for more details."

I've tried Spybot, AdAware and my regular Anti-Virus (Zone) to find something but nothing has helped. This just started happening probably about 4 days ago. HELP please! Thanks so much!

The best thing to do is to follow this http://wiki.castlecops.com/MRP

After following the link above if you think you're still infected with malware please post a Hijackthis log in this forum.

I also suggest you install Windows Defender (if you use Windows XP), which is free and is available from http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
