I am sorry if I am just not getting it at the moment, but what gives you the No User Name? I am looking at your screenshot but I am not sure where you see that in Task Manager. Is it Avast that is giving you a message? Help explain this better to me so I understand.

Hi Taz,
Sorry i wasn't clear at all.
What i meant is :
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/preceptor/with_name.gif
is the normal one, while
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/preceptor/without_name.gif
is the bad one.
I happened to discover this by accident ...
Meanwhile, i am getting those auto reboot problem again ...
Example of an error:
Winlogon.exe - Entry Point Not Found.
The procedure Entry Point PAthGetDryveNumberW could not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll
I received a range of those messages of similar nature.
Do i need to re-register some dll or something ?
Unable to take screenies ...

Click Start, Run and type:
Services.msc
Locate Terminal Services and double-click it
Set the Startup type to Automatic, and click Apply
Reboot the computer. This should take care of the User Name field in Task Manager. Check it.
This is a dll issue. Do you have your Windows XP disk?

If you have your disk, please follow the directions on the link

Hi Taz,
Finally done.
Btw i am not sure whether its my Avast that is causing the problem, so i have uninstalled it.
Not sure whether is this a temporary situation ...
Is there any software that i can download to protect my computer real-time ?
Thanks !

Well, I am not sure if you are willing to pay for a new antivirus but if so, I suggest NOD32.
They do have a free trial version (30days) if you want to try it out. Worth a try and if you like it and everything works ok.....
Here is the main page:
http://www.eset.com/
Here is the link to the trial versions:

For updates, usually one has automatic updates already set and the updates happen in the background. Some people have it set to notify you when there are updates and then some have it to not update and one will do it when they want it done.
I have mine set to notify me. I prefer that. That way I can see what updates are being installed and also have them run when I want them to run.
I am not sure how you have yours set, maybe you can tell me. I would say setting it to notify you of updates would be good. Either that or the automatic updates is fine.
Yes, there are some snags with the SP3. You can hold off. No harm with that right now.
