How do I get help from your Tech Support Staff on my problems with NIS 2008. I have MAJOR problems and cannot get contact with anyone at Symantec. I've tried email, phone contact, live chat and get no connection with anyone at Symantec. Phone contact and live chat get to downloading the appropriate software and goes no further. Emails are not responded to. What is the problem contacting you for support and problems with my purchased software?
Main problem is NIS 2008 blocks my home network from sharing drives. I have 3 drive partitions on my Desktop and I share the E drive with my laptop. NIS is blocking the sharing. I can uninstall NIS via Norton Removal Tool and the sharing works just fine - reinstall NIS and the sharing is "blocked".
And a couple of other minor problems with Live Update
Can someone please contact me and help me resolve the problems I have using your software???
Yes, I have both machines in the "trusted Zone" of each machine. I worked with Dell Support on this for over 2 hours and they could not figure out the problem - except uninstalling NIS to get the sharing working.
