Hi,
Just installed MS patch for the blaster worm on winxp, and now whenever i wanna reboot it just hangs and does nothing  ##
any ideas?

First where did you get the blaster patch? Secondly, have you tried to reboot into safe mode? Finally, if it won't reboot to safe mode then you might have to reinstall windows from a rescue disk.

hi thanks for the help, i got the patch of MS Windows Update.
I can reboot in safemode, and when i first boot up into normal windows i can reboot untill i go on the net after that everything hangs when i try to reboot.

You can also try a System Restore or maybe use the Last Known Good config prior to reinstalling...
