I might upgrade my pc to WindowsXP Pro, but with all the security issues going around, is it safe? I'm using 2000 Pro right now.

This is kinda a tricky question.

Why are you considering the upgrade? Are you not happy with 2000?

Anyway what is secure? The number one form of security is going to be YOU! You are the one who will be opening emails and running programs.
If you keep it patched and updated and maybe come to this site every once in a while to get info on the latest vulnerabilities for the OS and are careful with emails you open and other programs. I would say go for it.
