Hi all! I'm using Windows 98, and cannot connect to Earthlink Total Access. When I try to create a profile, after having downloaded the software, I cannot connect to registration server. It says to try again, or call 1800EARTHLINK. I called them, and they walked me through setting up a connection manually. My comp says I'm connected to Earthlink when I go that route (shows connection time, ISP address, etc. on toolbar icons) but when I go to Internet Explorer, its says Action Canceled on a white screen, as if I'm not connected. I still cannot double click on the Earthlink Icon, as it still tells me I have to set a profile on my comp, but it goes back to same message saying I cannot connect to registration server. I have already reset web settings, checked connections, per their advice, and it still won't connect. I was then told that the server is busy, and I should try back. I have been trying for 3 days! Any help would be appreciated!
