This is my very first post...
Well...Am a trainee in system administration...N i have got an assignment...I Have to optimize our LAN here...
I just do not know how to start...
I'll be very grateful if anyone can give me a clue abt it...

A few things abt our LAN
1. There a about 75 pcs
2. We use CISCO switch and 3Com firewall
3 The company where I work is a call centre
4 There are approx 5 servers

That would take about 6 semester hours - plus another 6 for security - and we don't even know what NOS or network topology you are using!

I would say what you are asking is beyond the scope of what we do here. There are too many variables and peculiarities to give such advice over a forum - especially in a corporate environment. I suggest you seek help from your NAs and SAs - don't be afraid to ask.

Hit your Cisco IOS books - they are actually very good.
