Guys...

over the last couple of days I have had severe problems including not being able to keep Task Manager or MSconfig open for more that 0.5 seconds.

I ran all the usual Hijackthis and TSC scans... the only thing that looked weird was the appearance of SCANREGWIN.EXE. This looked odd as I though this file was supposed to be SCANREGW not WIN ???

I also noticed that my DSL link kept stopping yet was senting out a continous upstream of 50k/sec. This got me worried... where was all this info going ???

Anyway I managed to eventually delete this SCANREGWIN.exe file (which wasn't easy) and all seems to be fine.

I did a search on Google re SCANREGWIN.exe but it said nothing found...did I mean SCANREGW ??? Does this mean I found a new virus ???
