I've been using avg 7.5 free for about two weeks and it seemed fine until this morning. I tried to update manually and keep getting the following error:
avg update process could not be finished due to insufficient free disk space or insufficient user rights. Disk space is fine. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions?

Well, I checked and I have 143GB free space, so I didn't see that as the problem. I opened the control center, settings, advanced and hit 'delete update temp files'. After that the update worked ok. But I still don't understand what it means by 'insufficient user rights'.

sisboombah, glad it worked for you also. I guess those files just have to be deleted every now and then.
