Check for remaining malware by working through this:

http://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Removal_and_Prevention:_Overview

If you are having problems removing legitimate programs there are a number of things you can try:

*Reinstalling and then uninstalling the program

*Contacting the program developer (Support) for manual removal instructions

If those options are not available, there are a number of applications that claim to uninstall programs, like these:

http://www.ursoftware.com

http://www.myuninstaller.com

You can also try some generic manual removal methods:

* http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000347.htm

* http://www.theeldergeek.com/manually_uninstall_programs.htm

* http://www.cryer.co.uk/brian/windows/howto_manually_uninstall.htm

If your problem is just removing residual entries in Add/Remove programs, try using MyUninstaller or CCleaner.
