Ok I've been attempting to work through the Malware removal link you gave me and I feel like a completely useless being :'-( I'm not very computer savvy so this stuff looks like a foreign language to me :-/ Is there anyway you can instruct me exactly what I should do? I'd appreciate any help you can give

ok so I figured out how to do most of the list... there were two scans I couldn't install on my computer: the SUPERAntivirus, and Prevx2... I was able to DL them but unable to install them because of an "administrative control"... also... I was unable to do the online Active virus scan because I couldn't figure out how to set my ActiveX control... besides those three things I have completed the list. I will wait until I get the rest of the scans completeed before I resort to my HJT post.
Thank you again for you help...

So the latest update on my progress... I have completed everything except the Prevx2 installation and my computer seemed to be better for a day... but I just turned on my computer and its doing the same fluctuation in the CPU it was doing before... let me know if you want me to post an HJT log to take a look at ok? I'm looking forward to hearing from you...

You might also think about when it is that high sorting the columns, in the task manager, to show cpu usage from highest to lowest and see which process is using it all. Make a note of it and try killing it.
Has it been running any better since the battery of scans and tests ?? _________________ www.bkops2.net Online BHD, JO:E, ARMA, BF2 squad

Whether to post a HJT log is your decision to make.
You reported your suspicions that your computer was infected with malware.
The MRP is designed so that you successively use a number of malware detection and removal tools until you have removed all malware. Once you have removed all malware, there is no reason to proceed further. The HJT log posting is the last step in the MRP.
If you do decide to post a HJT log, follow the HJT log posting requirements.
