Win XP, MWP 5.2, Broadband (cable), VOIP router

Recently, after no use of the Internet, my computer will show 'NO CONNECTION..Network cable unplugged...' in my systray, & MWP will say 'NO CONNECTION...'.

If I open up IE and go to ANY site, the connection will return, my connection icon in the systray will announce the return of the connection, and MWP will work fine.

Any thoughts as to what is happening? I never had my connection 'go to sleep' before nd I cannot figure out why.

This has nothing to do with MW - and likely much to do with your router, and/or connection setup in windows.
