Hello: I was told by HP to do a Non Destructive Recovery when I showed them these results, can someone please look at the rookit results and let me know if it is necessary to do this, I dont want to lose my third party goodies etc.
Other rootkit revealers did not find these and the only trouble I am having with this pc is, it would freeze up after about 3 hours of use and I know its not heat related according to Speed Fan!
Please have a look at the attachment? Thanks

Can you expand the first 12/12/2006 "Data mismatch between Windows API and raw hive data" entry. The photo does not reveal the entire path.

The rest of the entries are completely harmless and that one is probably harmless too, as it is only a single registry entry.

Do you have an HP laptop? I have run into a few with shutoff and heat problems. That RKR log is not suggestive of anything that would cause that.
