|
|
Hi,
I have a simple LAN with a single firewall and router through lease line out to internet and a single VLAN on the internal perimeter.
I have installed the latest liveupdate and try to do a manual live update but failed when it is trying to download a big file of 25MB. However, I used another PC with the same version of live upate, I can perform the live update process successfully. Then I realised it is updating with a less than 1MB file.
Have anyone came across with this scenario before? When live update is updating small file, its ok but not with the big files.
Cheers,
Tony

As Cudni has asked, knowing the error message, and number, would be helpful. Additionally, it could be useful to know which update you are actually receiving that is this size.
Lastly, what Symantec product/version do you actually have? _________________ - Reese Anschultz

Hi,
I'm using Symantec antivirus Corporate edition 10.0.0.359 with scan engine 103.0.2.7.
The file size is about 27MB.
The error message is LU1835:Connection to the Liveupdate server failed.
cheers!!
