I was doing my head in with a LU1812 error and tried everything, including using the hotfix, the bit about turning off Protect Norton in the options, however I realised that the shared component doesnt actually exist which is why it doesnt run in the live update after that Norton throws a wobbly and claims everything is a LU1812. Easy fix that worked for me is to update Live Update then it recognises the virus defs and doesnt worry about the shared components, which I think are some marketing bollocks. Hope it helps someone
