"Negster22 and any other Admin on this forum,
That is covering a very large number of you Special Agents. I have had some very strange problems with my system and have had some very Excellent HELP from Negs22. This is primarily sent for her benefit, all may benefit from learning of my Fortunate acquisition. My system was, at one time a Win98SE2ME, thanks to MDGx, and maybe some other software.
I have now come into a newer system as noted in my sig and that should cover it. I am presently following the instructions by "PCBruiser" to see to it that my system is 'CLEAN' also am now on a DSL line. If anyone needs any assistance in these areas, POST in CastleCops forums for their HELP. I cannot do any good in these areas as I am still working with "training wheels" attached.
Thank you for reading my True Confessions, _________________ TIA, CU L8R, >'Lkkb'<Inspiron D531s Vista HE Pre SP1 AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor O/S 32Bit 2.3G RAM 3.0Gb, IE v7.0, FFv3.0.3/w/PWM v1.7.2 & NoScript v1.8.4.1; CFP v3.5.54375.427/w CFP AV updated daily; AntiVir v8.2.xxx Up Dated daily.

I am a member of Comodo Family and their Forum. May I advise you of a change in the name, "Comodo Firewall Pro" and is fully functional. It also has the HIPS feature and can be set as you wish. The features are very extensive and I will not list them here.
They are very responsive to any problems you may have with that FireWall and are very HELPFUL. Even their CEO is on the web with some GREAT information and HELP if you need.
Also found this error in one page, "aut.omatically" just to let you konw. The link is:
http://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Prevention:_Prevent_Re-infection#Blocking_Unwanted_Parasites_with_a_Hosts_File:
Am running most of what you list as programs to run and would also like to thank you for the link to update HJT as I have been using v1.99.1 for many years.
A suggestion, if you put any reference to an update from Microsoft please include the YEAR, refernce the above link:
" . . .Vulnerability in Windows Animated Cursor Handling was released on Tuesday April 3." And this note has no date or time period as to when it is first active, "Note: Some Realtek HD Audio Control Panel . . ." and if you have SP-2 installed that should be already on your system.
Edited by Lkkb, today,
The BelArc Advisor installed on your system will keep a record of all the latest updates from Microsoft. When run it will check for the latest update list to keep you updated, if you are connected to the Web when starting BA. Their site, www.belarc.com if you would like to add them to your list of informative programs.
Thank you for reading my poster roaster, _________________ TIA, CU L8R, >'Lkkb'<Inspiron D531s Vista HE Pre SP1 AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor O/S 32Bit 2.3G RAM 3.0Gb, IE v7.0, FFv3.0.3/w/PWM v1.7.2 & NoScript v1.8.4.1; CFP v3.5.54375.427/w CFP AV updated daily; AntiVir v8.2.xxx Up Dated daily.

On the same link in my previous message there is another deficiency, "that should corrected before you upgrade." Between 'should' and 'corrected' insert the word "be" to make it read more smoothly.
Edited by Lkkb, again,
Farther down on that same page, as I am still reading and following your instructions, conerning Vista, ". . in preparation for that that day." Remove one of those 'that' as they are not both reqired.
Thanks for the reading of my many Posters, _________________ TIA, CU L8R, >'Lkkb'<Inspiron D531s Vista HE Pre SP1 AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor O/S 32Bit 2.3G RAM 3.0Gb, IE v7.0, FFv3.0.3/w/PWM v1.7.2 & NoScript v1.8.4.1; CFP v3.5.54375.427/w CFP AV updated daily; AntiVir v8.2.xxx Up Dated daily.
