Thanks for the welcome Miss Gnome! Hmmm, I do not know if Paul is dreamy or not - are you interested in him? I'm very happily married so I can probably get away by asking him some pertinent questions for ya, such as; Can you cook? Do you like to clean toilets? What's your salary? Do you like changing diapers?

I was trying to ignore the deveel dude as his post was over the edge! Bad boy! Is he Tim and the one I should demand a squiggly blue ion thingie from ~~ using my feminine manipulative powers and threats of love potions and what nots on the Sabre Toothe Tigers? (Whoever they may be!)

If so, I would prefer an orange colored squiggly wiggly atomizer rather than the blue one. How do I get in touch with the deveel Tim?

I'm married, too. Paul is just a great guy who always seems to be here when you need him. Hmmm, the only question I asked was, "Can you open this jar? roll eyes

LOL! Tim is Red; however, at times, it does certainly seem that he has the devil in him. Once you finished with your first work unit, let me know (my IM is listed), and I'll give him a shout.

Oh, this isn't the Flintstones! The Sabres are a hockey team.

I'm not in charge of the colors, so don't kill the messenger. And, again, welcome. It's great to have you on board. Hug

Too funny! Can you open the jar? I love it!

What's a "work unit"? (I don't remember if the question mark goes inside the quote or outside when the quote is at the end of a sentence.) I gave up the job force when I married my can opener! Now you want to put me to work? Mad

I have demanded my orange atom squiggly from Tim and hopefully will have one soon enough, that is if he takes my threat of spittle on the Sabres seriously enough. Twisted Evil

My email address is my im on yahoo and aol - I suppose I should add them to my profile!

A "work unit" or "WU" (or "WOO" if you talk to Tim) is that part of the genome or protein that your computer "folds" for the Stanford research.

Come on down to this forum and check it out. You sound like you will fit right in with the rest of us. weee

That invitation is open to whomever might be reading this and is interested in saving lives.

I verify the link as safe. We're working to save lives here, not just computers. We hope to have you aboard! Very Happy

Note to the emoticon people: Can I have a sailor saluting? That would have been a perfect example.

I have gone to the folding site and I love the idea!

umm, how do I say this, uh,
Embarassed
ummm Embarassed

uh Embarassed

IDONTKNOWWHATKINDACOMPUTERIHAVE.

These are the choices they give me:

Windows 2000/XP/Vista Graphical client

Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista
"No nonsense" text-only console (with built-in Windows-service-install option)

Windows XP/Vista
GPU client GUI version

Windows XP/Vista
GPU client console version (with multi-GPU support)

I would prefer to have the Linus one with the cute lil penquin, but I have to choose one of the above! AND I do not know which one to choose!

Until I have a revelation of which one to download, I am unable to partake of changing the world via my computer! Crying or Very sad

<sigh>

Assuming it's a Windows system (99% likelihood) try Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> System. Then respond with the information displayed.

Feel free to start a topic at the Folding forum. Lots of folks to give specific F@H advice there. Wink
