I didn't say it was a 100% fix, but I agree that the site is moving along quicker. In fact, due to those changes general access to the site has gone up significantly.

I did not mean to imply there has been no improvement. There has definitely been significant improvements. But I would not say it is consistently better (of course, allowing for some inevitable exceptions). It has been a long time since I have had time out errors, and I think only once today the images did not load completely so there's much improvement there.

But...

This page initial load times: 95ppm 24.585s (19.324s)
This page "Preview" times: 146ppm 0.300s (0.041s)

Shocked - I just tried preview again and now the side panel fonts are huge, and it took nearly 10 seconds to load, but the times say: 134ppm 2.135s (0.22s) - so that does not seem reliable.

Preview again and 118ppm 1.228s (0.111s)

Calling up the first post in HW just now: 169ppm 11.934s (11.494s)

Right now the times are going to display longer because I'm manually running those problem scripts and tweaking code. I'll suspend that momentarily and we should see better perf again.

Just a few minutes ago I was bumped off, to the mirror... I suppose it is rough weather out there.

I was optimizing a large table, so to speed it up I put the site into outage mode.
