Since the DDoS is continuing at the KS forums, I'd like to start a thread for this here. There is still plenty of Complainteration going on, plenty of communication via PM's on this forum, and plenty of successes. Beijing Innovative Linkage Technologies removed a lot of Discount Pharmacy domains, and Bizcn.com just suspended a truckload of Canadian Pharmacy Domains less than 24 hours after a report, for instance.

For folks who have not used Complainterator, it is an automated program available at http://www.complainterator.com that takes a domain name, looks up the nameservers, and prepares letters to the registrars for the domain and nameservers asking them to suspend the site. With sites like Canadian Pharmacy and Discount Pharmacy that are run on hijacked servers, the registrar is the only entity that can suspend it -- there is no hosting service.
It is appropriate to add info to your report to demonstrate why the sites are operating illegally, like the URL of a spamcop report in the case of registrars in countries with laws against spam, or in other cases, evidence that the sites are running on hijacked servers (like a nslookup with multiple IP addresses all over the planet.) Keep your prose simple since many of their techs must struggle with English. Since the Chinese registrars are looking at a massive backlog of spam domains to be removed, and since with KS forums not available we can't keep track of which domains were already reported, it is appropriate to offer apologies for possible duplicate reports. I think they also prefer if you batch them in lists like this if you have a lot of domains for a single spam operation going to a single registrar.

What was the email adresses for Beijing Innovative Linkage Technologies and for BIZCN INC?
I use the complainterator, but I have never got a reply from Beijing Innovative Linkage Technologies.

One of our members -- and I'll leave it to him to take credit if he wishes -- telephoned China and talked to someone at BILT. But BILT may act without responding to an email, and it may be intermittent whether they act or not. Be nice to them; they're learning. The addresses in Complainterator are still the best ones.

Bizcn is taking action again? I've never got any response from them, but it's nice to see they didn't totally cease acting on complaints after the big burst a few weeks ago.
There once was the Google spreadsheet about the reported and suspended domains, but I guess nobody's updating it anymore?

are down. These have beem the most spamvertized websites in my emails. I have reported numerous of those mails to knujon, spamcop and also used complainterator. At last, thank god, they are down. Great work trobbins and all those who are part of taking the above websites down.

I think they are blocking your e-mail address if you send too many complaints.
When I notice that they stopped acting on my complaints, I simply change my e-mail address and the complaints are acted on again.
The same applies to Enom. I have to change my e-mail address now and again, otherwise they just stop acting.

Given how many registrars bounce my reports as spam because they contain the URLs of spamvertised sites, it's possible other registrars' email systems accept them but dump them in the spam folder -- where they sit until the staff have extra time on their hands to go through it all, which will be shortly after hell freezes over. I doubt any registrar is adding me to their "Friends" list (except Gandi, which filters for Complainterator reports and gives them priority).

Thanks for the advice, something to consider. And maybe I could pile up more domains into a single complaint, too...

Somehow it still seems like a strange policy, as long as the complaints themselves are relevant and accurate.
