Pretty stupid, too. Anything available on that forum that a spammer wouldn't want people to read or download is probably available several other places on the web. After the first DDoS, everyone started thinking about becoming a more diffuse target And of course, we really appreciate how much you and Robin have put into keeping this site up so we can not only use the forums but also have a way to PM each other.

The ddos stopped for a while, we got it back up, and the ddos began again. I'm waiting for all ddoses to blow over before attempting to get it back up now. Plus we're planning on moving the forums to a new host where we should be able to successfully mitigate future attacks...

What is the status of Thecarpcstore forum?

Is it for trusted members only now? If so how to become trusted?

Has there been any updates on Complainterator files since 8/28 (contact file)? If so anyway to get them?

Thecarpcstore forum is temporarily relocated, and only for trusted and certain other members.

We have not moved to the new host mentioned above yet, as we are waiting for them to get some things done.

There are updated programs... I'll see what I can do to get them posted.

There is a full static backup of our site in several locations, so even though our pubic forums are offline and our temporary ones are hidden, content prior to the DDoS is available on the web in many locations. Plus there are numerous new sites, blogs, wikis, etc. with a wealth of information contributed from our forum members.

Anyone reading this who has a site out there, our forum members, Castlecops, spamtrackers, spamcourt, thanks for keeping the fight alive and strong. Now lets go piss off some more spammers!

I then tried bringing up my registered version of DNSSTUFF and I get same error.

Since I am not able to get any updates I guess I am out of commission in my 50 - 100 submission per day. I tried to find out how to become trusted but all I gathered it was a secret club and no way even to get the latest updates for current users of Complainterator.

I been a Castlecops member for some time, a Spamcop paid subscriber and Knujon user for over a year.

I was getting the same yesterday for a few hours (and I am registered) so it may be a technical glitch.

Version 20 will use the new complainterator-specific DNS token. Expect a new version as soon as the author has the time to update it.

The token is the problem. If you remove the &token=blablabla from the url string and press enter, it works fine. Only problem is now the registrars can't see the results. Maybe, dnsstuff changed the token value.?

Edit:Oh!, tembow just answered the last question.

Version 20 solves problem and is out now. I got it on 10/5 FYI

Update for KS forums members: the current downtime is maintenance related, not a DDoS. It may be down a couple days.
