I ran driver agent and it said that i had issues with the following:

VIA serial ATA controller - 0591

NVIDIA Geforce 7500 LE

Audio device on high definiton audio bus.

Sadly I have to pay $30 to download the drivers.

I tried the codecs and i Still get an error message telling me that it cant find the HD audio device.

I will contact packard Bell. ELse i will just get a new sound card.

I'm sorry you did that without asking first, it was unnecessary - we can almost always find fresher drivers, and that is there to sell you "newer drivers" which usually aren't. I strongly suggest not using that service.

Finally, I'm sorry we were unable to fix the problem. But, when hardware fails, as I am sure happened here, the only choice we have is to get new hardware or replace the one you have under warranty. Sorry.

I can only say thanks for all your efforts, you have helped me previously and I am really thankful to you and this site. You all provide an invaluable service. Hats off.

I can't get to that location, it checks for system first, and then routes you to the correct page. Since I built my own system myself, it won't be recognized as a PackardBell.
