Castecops forum is the only one I have ever had speed problems with. The forum is often unusable. Please at least get rid of this rubbish phpBB forum software. Look to Invision - or anything other than phpBB. _________________ Windows Vista 32bit Business SP1 | MS ISA 2004 Firewall | Nod32 v2.70.32 | PrevxEDGE v3.0.0.172 | SpywareBlaster v4.1 | Firefox v3.0.4

While I agree the software is dated, and lacking many desirable features, but now is not the time for a complete migration to something very different. I think at this point, the site must focus on fixing what is broke, and get stable - to the point where the site is no longer the distraction - so confidence can be restored in site admin, those that come here looking for help, and for those of us that come here to help. If performance can stay as it has for the last 20 minutes, then we are well on the way to having CCSP an Internet favorite again.
Right this moment, I am very pleased with the site's performance. The left panels are still taking a few extra seconds to fully load, but the main windows are up quick and ready for work. _________________

Paul,
Performance is GREATLY IMPROVED, as experienced from a PIRT Handlers point of view. The queue-load is faster than I've seen it in months, and the time to step through each processing of a PIRT Ticket is also very nice.
I know I'm not working in the heaviest part of the day, but many pageloads are happening in sub 1 second response times.
Thank you for taking the time to apply such time and resource, and for sharing so freely to get help from so many places.
As always, I'm amazed by the dedication you and Robin show to this effort, and grateful.

Everything is running much much better, SIRT reports that I have done today have flown through and other areas of the forum are up to expected speeds.
Great work Paul in sticking with the issues which appear to be now solved and not giving up hope at any time.
