Go to http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please show us its contents.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results. _________________ Tony CLSID List

TonyKlein, here is my information from the Log.. I deleted a couple of things that I didnt think belonged there... but as far from the rest.. I have no clue. I know its still there somewhere...because when I go into IE, when my homepage loads... it just disappears and it turns just to Http:/// and then nothing else works... so, I was just wondering if you could help me please.

ineedhelp,
That's a severely affected system.
In Hijack This, check all of the following items, then close all browser windows, and press "Fix Checked":

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://www.findthewebsiteyouneed.com

Now restart your computer, and delete:
The c:\program files\winfavorites folder
The C:\Program Files\Commonname folder
The C:\Program Files\Search Toolbar folder
The C:\Program Files\Sqwire folder
The C:\Program Files\Common Files\Btlink subfolder
The C:\Program Files\Common Files\Address subfolder
The C:\WINDOWS\b.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\lggefhzf.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\msbb.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\UIZRCPAOU.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\GMQTW.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\JTADGKNQT.exe file
The C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd32.exe file
And delete the COMPLETE contents of your C:\Documents and Settings\Phil\Local Settings\Temp folder.
To avoid the risk of any of the above not being found due to them having the 'Hidden' attribute, first make sure that in Folder Options > View hidden and operating system files are set to show:
How to Show Hidden/System Files
Finally, download Spybot - Search & Destroy
After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove/fix all it finds.
And here's some reading on prevention:
So how did I get infected in the first place?

Helpme god!,
Download the latest version of CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom, the creator of Hijack This.
Run it, press 'Next', and allow it to fix all it finds.
Next, run Hijack This, and check the following items.

O4 - Global Startup: updater.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\updater\wupdater.exe

Reboot into safe mode (tap F8 key at boot up) and delete:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\updater\ <--- folder
C:\Documents and Settings\CODEBLUE2k\Application Data\DownloadPlus.exe <--- file
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~3\ADDRES~1\winnet.exe <-- file. You should have (hopefully) uninstalled this via Add/Remove programs.
C:\WINDOWS\KYMARGUB.exe <-- file. Before you delete it, right click and send to compressed (zipped) folder. Mail the zipped file/folder to me later when you boot back to normal mode please. [Mailto:SubmitStuff@rogers.com]
c:\program files\winfavorites\ < -- folder
C:\WINDOWS\lekketoc.exe <-- file. Same routine as the above file please. Zip it and mail it.
C:\WINDOWS\b.exe <-- file
To help locate these files you may need to set it up like so in Windows Explorer:
:Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
- Select the View Tab.
- Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
- UNcheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
- UNcheck "Hide file extensions for known file types"
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK.
Reboot normally and download and run Ad-Aware:
Download Ad-Aware at http://lavasoft.element5.com/support/download/
After installing AAW, and before running the program, update by using the Globe icon.
Shut down and restart Ad-Aware.
Now press "Scan Now", "Select drives\folders to scan" and select the active partition (usually C: ), then 'next', and let Ad-Aware scan your drives.
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Click 'Next' again.
Rightclick in that pane and choose "select all" and click 'next'.
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.
Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot.
Post a new HJT log after the reboot please.
Are you able to tell us anything about this program?
[PtLiveUpdate] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Pumatech Shared\LiveUpdate Client\PtLUWorker.exe
Thanks
Remove the ofending link from your aim profile and visit Windows update to install all critical patches.
