It seems like yesterday when the site reached 40,000 memberships. This is just simply incredible!

how do you get big stores like MICROSOFT to participate?
it is a big deal to have so many people involved in what is going on here and to see the daily statistics and to see the number of hits on this site.
i sit here and wonder why folks like M/S won't make deals with the folks that write the spybot search and destroy and ad-aware and other stuff like that to bundle the anti-malware with their operating systems when installed on the pc's.

Have any of you belonged to a User Group?
http://www.apcug.net/index_main.html
They have access to large companies. For example Power Quest until bought by Symantec had a User Group discount. I could buy their products for close to half price. Also, they had people that went around to large computer groups and present programs at meetings and at the same time give away products as door prizes etc.,

we could do that today.
couldn't we?
any spot we should put it in for maximum effectiveness?

Sorry to be so thick about the rules, but is registration beginning after the 100,000th member joins? If before then, where do I sign? Thanks.

What marvelous acceleration!
No... not the car I'd like to win, but the phenomenal rise in membership. Surely you must be running out of relatives now Paul. Anyway, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on such a remarkable achievement when the big day dawns.
Sadly, I too missed the 40k celebrations. This was mainly due to my ex-wife's decision to have sole occupancy of my house. However, I'm determined to not let the big one go by similarly unmarked. To this end, I have therefore purchased a big box of fireworks.
Ok, so this new place may be a little cramped for that kind of thing, but I have every confidence that Computer Cops is fully insured.
Well done, Paul and staff!

THE NEWBIE CRITIQUES: you didn't use enough exclamation points. That's some accomplishment. Actual real congratulations; and for success in the Good Fight!!!!!!!!!
How come we don't hear about this kind of good news in """the media?"""
