Hey. I have AntiVirus PE Classic, v. 6.3. I am having trouble turning on Active Guard. I checked the log file and here's a portion of it. 3/5/2005,6:31:59 [INIT] The AVGuard Service is starting. 3/5/2005,6:32:01 [INIT] Keyfile contains a valid license. The AVGuard service will run as a fully functional version! 3/5/2005,6:32:01 [ERROR] [1060] The device driver could not be loaded! 3/5/2005,6:32:02 [INFO] Stop Filter Device. 3/5/2005,6:32:03 AVGuard service has been stopped! 3/5/2005,19:18:13 --------------------------------------------------------- 3/5/2005,19:18:13 [INIT] The AVGuard Service is starting. 3/5/2005,19:18:14 [INIT] Keyfile contains a valid license. The AVGuard service will run as a fully functional version! 3/5/2005,19:18:15 [ERROR] [1060] The device driver could not be loaded! 3/5/2005,19:18:15 [LOGON] Connection request by remote computer. Establishing secure communication channel. 3/5/2005,19:18:15 [INFO] Stop Filter Device. 3/5/2005,19:18:15 [LOGON] Connection to computer 127.0.0.1 established successfully. Session ID = 0xa814b30a. 3/5/2005,19:18:16 AVGuard service has been stopped! I see there's an error, yet don't know how to fix it, so I'm here. I see there's an error, yet don't know how to fix it, so I'm here. Thanks!

Hi there,here is a tip,this sometimes happens on previous rarae occasions-why?,well it does wish i knew why,i have asked?.

1/ open up avpe program
2/click on OPTIONS then CONFIGURATION.
3/click on MISCELLANEOUS.
4/under the heading..... AntiVir Tools...click in check box (Load The Guard At System Start).
5/click OK.
6/close avpe program
7/open up avpe program again and see if guard is enabled in toolbar(red umbrella open).
8/re-check items 2-5.
