Helllo everybody and tx for your attention!

I have an old pIII 733 with w2k sp4 512mb ram
today when i started up my cpu it said that my win profile was dameged and that it was unable to load it so it willn start with a standard profile....
everything seems tp work,i mean software, drivers etc. but obviously all about win is resetted!

The last things i've done with my cpu are these:

-changed my videocard from a geforce ddr to an older geforce 256

-when my sister was playn monopoly tycoon the games freezed and when she called me i terminated it and a window appared saing that something terribly wrong appened but fortunatly a file named crack.sav was create...
i searched it few minutes ago but there no file named crack in my cpu....

today i found my profile damaged!
I really hope to find a way to restore it, please help me!

(I can use internet only at my family's home, i'm now living alone and i have no tel line, , so may be i can't read your posts daily.... so please be patience )

Download and install the newest version /zx/Robin/spybotsd13.zip (1.3) - Note: If you have been using SpyBot S&D for some time, chances are you have version 1.2. For some unknown reason, the 1.2’s update feature does not alert you to the new version so you must download and install the new from the link above. Also, download and install AdAware http://lavasoft.element5.com/support/download/ - there are free versions of each. Before scanning, use each programs’ update option to get the latest signature files, then scan, using SpyBot first.

Run crap cleaner to get rid of uneeded garbage!!![D/L CrapCleaner](goto,options,settins,Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours" for cleaning malware files!)

Note: Runing all the scans will not hurt your system. I gave the choose one as a starting point.

I had this to a while ago, spyware scanners, etc, etc won't work on this. I did a systemrestore but I'm running XP. You've got w2k so aren't able to do that.. do you make backups ? run one from when ur profile did work

sorry for the long time passed...

I have replaced my old profile, just coping my prof. bkup in the new one and now everything is the same....
