I'm a little confused as to the real differences between XP Pro and Media Center (besides the added media handling capabilties of Media Center, obviously). What are the added advantages of XP Pro/disadvantages of XP Media Center? Thanks

Thanks- I had seen that, but I am still confused as to what advantages does XP Pro offer over Media Center?

Read the article referenced above as well as other linked-to articles. Compare the features of each operating system. Whether a particular feature is an "advantage" or how to weigh "advantages" for comparison purposes are value judgements that the user (you) must make based on your own computer useage and expectations.
