Maybe this is not supposed to be done, but , theoretically, can xp pro be loaded on 2 different computers from 1 disk? I heard it knows what hardware etc. you have and wont let you use it on more then 1 computer. Is that true?

Do you mean by "Loaded": Installed, or run ?

Thanks everyone!
I did read that, it sounds like it's ok I guess. I havent tried it yet. I am switching computers and wanted to re-use my xp disk to install on the other computer. It has been installed on the first, which is being dismantled for parts.
