|
|
I just recently installed the free AntiVir Personal Edition Classic, which shows on my computer with a red umbrella icon. However, this morning I saw on the publisher's website that the home user/non-business version (which I want) is supposed to be a blue umbrella icon, and that the red umbrella one is the version for businesses. Is this correct? If so, from where should I download the non-business version?
Thanks for your help!

Howdy,

To translate - the color change will be completed in the Fall of 2005 for all Products.
You have the right version, the cosmetics will just take time to catch up with everything else. _________________ "Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat."

Hi Hoboken,
There are currently three versions of AntiVir: the Personal Edition Classic (which is free for home users), the Personal Edition Premium (which is paid for) and the Professional version (for network and business use).
From the Autumn H+BEDV intends to distinguish between the business and the personal editions by having a red umbrella icon for the former and a blue icon for the latter.
So your umbrella should change colour in a couple of months, but for the moment red is OK.
Edit - mrrockford just pipped me to the post!
