Hi,
Yesterday I was cleaning my laptop, running spyware, ad-aware, and Spybot all at the same time. I noticed my computer was starting to freeze so i decided to stop all programs. Next thing I notice my computer was performing hella slow so I decided to shut it down by pressing the power button for 4 seconds. I restart it and my computer will not load up, first my COMPAQ sign appears, then a blank page with bars at the bottom that start to load slowly, then the Windows Home XP page appears and finally a error message saying that "file MPR.dll is not found, re-installing the file may fix this problem" I am not sure how I go about fixing this, what is my best bet to go about this? Any help is greatly appreciated!
