|
|
Live update shows 2 different icons within the scrollbar window: the very first one has a round yellow shape and the others are square, half white and half yellow. Not sure if this could affect my pc's performance as it takes a very long time to get NAV started and now it takes a lot more resources than it used to. It also takes quite a few minutes to get my pc started.
I have the same 2 different shapes within the Start > All Programs > Norton Antivirus. Live Update and Norton Antivirus options have the round icon whereas Help & Support and More Symantec Solutions have the square icon.
Is this normal? If not, how can it be repaired?
Thanks in advance.
PS: Here are a couple of captures I've taken so you can see exactly what I mean.

Should have added: as far as the shortcuts in start/programs/Norton Antivirus is concerned, you can of course change the icon to anything you wish (right click on the shortcut, click properties, click change icon. Browse to any file you like that has icons in it.
But I can't think why you would want to do that

Now that's a relief!! I thought that somehow I might have picked up an older version of NAV, or something even more weird.
I am now happy with the icons the way they are, ta very much mate, you've been really helpful
