I use my tablet with the stylus in relative/mouse mode. Unfortunately, when I paint in GIMP or SharpConstruct, the program forces the painting to occur in absolute/pen mode. I can't use those programs that way. Is there any way to fix this? My OS is WinXP Pro, and I use a Graphire 4. Thanks.

Woo-hoo! Eureka, it works! I followed the link and put --ignore-wintab as a command-line parameter and Voila! The command line tries to tell me the command isn't recognized, but the command still did something that allowed mouse-mode to function properly. Thanks so much!

I also wanted to note that I tried this on SharpConstruct only, but I would assume it would work for GIMP as well as it also uses the GTK package.
