what is the procedure to upgrade nav 2004 to nav 2007 as nav 2004 is no longer supported. Is there a symantec weblink for these instructions.

Do I have to uninstall nav 2004 using addd delete program or must I go throuth the whole process of removing nav 2004 directories, live update and wmi update and registry entries. What must I do for for nav 2006 or the new nav 2007 to install without error if I have nav 2004 on my system right now.

You will have to uninstall NAV 2004 completely. Please refer to these links for help:

CastleCops Link/t160425-Removing_Symantec_Norton_Products.html

CastleCops Link/p466952-Read_this_before_installing_ANY_Norton_or_Symantec_product.html#466952

Do not attempt to install the new Norton on top of the old. Won't work. Be sure to check the system specifications too. If Norton needs more than half of your RAM, then get yourself another AV product.
