my copy won't take the latest update and change it to #155 from #154. repeated failures.

Hi filehunting, I just successfully updated mine to SE1R126. It didn't look like it was going to work at first, but then it did. Don't know what's up with that. No problem this morning - updated to Reference number SE1R124 19.09.2006, Internal Build 152.

Are you using the free version?

My Internal Build is 152 - I'm wondering where the '155' comes from?

If you continue to have problems then you can manually download the latest definition file here . Unzip the file 'defs.ref' to the Ad-Aware SE Personal folder.

If you continue to experience problems updating through the program then uninstall through Add/Remove Programs, manually delete the AdAware folder (it should be empty) and reinstall using a fresh download.

I just updated my definitions - the build number stayed at #154. Perhaps the build number reflects a program version/update and not a definitions update.

yes,

i read about it on calendar of updates.
and i un-installed the app.
and then went back and started obver.
