First of all, thank you if you are reading this.
My little brother went on my computer a few days ago and it has been running VERY slowly since. He claims he didn't do anything, but my AVG Free scan detected multiple hits of Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SdBot2.LAQ, Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.HKQ, and Trojan horse.Generic2.FOD. Also, my Ad-Aware free edition keeps detecting one malicious process running but is having a hard time deleting it. The trojan horses keep coming back as well. I'm pulling my hair out now, please help me.
Thanks

Hi, therash,
First, welcome to CastleCops.
I have locked this thread. Posting duplicate questions in different forums can lead to a lot of confusion, so we discourage members from doing that.
Cudni's advice is exactly correct. Please start on working through the MRP, and post the results to your other thread in the HJT Forum. The proper place to work on this problem is in the HJT Forum.
Also, please post a HJT log from before you start working on the MRP in the other thread. Our 1st Responders like to see a pre-fix log, because it helps them diagnose your issues. _________________ Don't read? Can't learn!
