One of the times when all elements here come into
play so that I can be on saying g'day and the fun
girls aren't here for laughs.

Phooey

Leave you each a g'day anyway HUG HUG

Red made a move on Peggy, so she's over at my place hiding.

Hugs right back at ya!

Actually, me being a single girl and Red being a nice local single guy who's not gay,
I let him know (before I knew about Lee) that I was available. He explained in
no uncertain terms that "he was taken" and we could be nothing but friends.

Turns out - he's a good guy and a good friend, so I got lucky anyway,
just not in the way I had imagined at the start.
Hug

Ahhh, Peggy, Peggy, Peggy! Don't let Red get you into a false complacency. That's what the Colts did the Patriots tonight!

So Gnomie, hon, do you consider me not nice, not local, not single, not a guy, or gay? Razz weee

Certainly I don't encourage complacency. Just ask... Peggy. Very Happy

And what the Colts did to the Patriots was justice. Wink

Are you watching the all-star game?

I thought the first period was entertaining enough, but the second and third they played like they didn't want to get hurt instead of entertaining us with the speed and excitement that should have been. Some of them did, but it just wasn't what I expected.

But in an amazing turn of events, I'm going to get on topic and wonder, Is Gnomie okay?

I'd repeat my post, but then a moderator would delete Ike's double-post, which I rather enjoyed. By actually posting a response to his post, he can't delete his post without leaving a note, by CastleCops laws.

Could you be Echo? Wink weee

Say what? CC laws? Anyway, sorry for stifling your enjoyment. Seems to me you enjoy other folks' mistakes way to much. weee

Nope, I'm the anti-echo, stamping out echoed posts whenever I run across one ... or if someone blue-cards one. Wink

The "moderator guide" had a post that said if you delete a dup, you should leave a tag saying you removed a dup. Same if you removed a spam post, you would leave a tag that said spam post removed. As far as I know, they no longer use those, or at least I've never seen a post saying how exactly you leave a tag.

It also says you're supposed to leave a tag if you modify a post, like when I posted a long link before I learned how to code a URL, but it messed with the page width. I don't remember if it was you or Hoov that split it, but they left a note. It's the polite thing to do, and we did it at Blue too. <<likes to rhyme weee>>

And I wouldn't say I enjoy other people's mistakes as much as I like having fun. I'd like to think I'm just as quick to make fun of myself if I screw up (see signature). It depends on the board and the poster. For example, when you say "to much", it should be "too much", but I'm not going to point that out to just anyone. I would point it out to you, though, just to goad you into a response. Razz

Two is a number, to is an action, and too modifies a quantity, like too much. Too can often replace also, too. weee

Splendid use of the apostrophe in "folks'" though. I'm going to assume that your "to much" was simply a sticky "o" key, and as a touch typist like I am, you didn't notice it and spell-check didn't pick it up, so forget everything I just said. Sorry for wasting your monitor ink. Very Happy

I was actually trying to get this thread back on topic. With Femme asking where Gnomie (aka Save__The_Gnome) and Peggy were, I was concerned because apparently some Gnomes in Australia have, well, met untimely demises.

Such a sad event. Crying or Very sad
