One of the times when all elements here come into
play so that I can be on saying g'day and the fun
girls aren't here for laughs.

Red made a move on Peggy, so she's over at my place hiding.
Hugs right back at ya!

Actually, me being a single girl and Red being a nice local single guy who's not gay,
I let him know (before I knew about Lee) that I was available. He explained in
no uncertain terms that "he was taken" and we could be nothing but friends.
Turns out - he's a good guy and a good friend, so I got lucky anyway,
just not in the way I had imagined at the start. _________________ If not us, who?

Ahhh, Peggy, Peggy, Peggy! Don't let Red get you into a false complacency. That's what the Colts did the Patriots tonight!

So Gnomie, hon, do you consider me not nice, not local, not single, not a guy, or gay?
Certainly I don't encourage complacency. Just ask... Peggy.
And what the Colts did to the Patriots was justice.
Are you watching the all-star game?

Say what? CC laws? Anyway, sorry for stifling your enjoyment. Seems to me you enjoy other folks' mistakes way to much. |
The "moderator guide" had a post that said if you delete a dup, you should leave a tag saying you removed a dup. Same if you removed a spam post, you would leave a tag that said spam post removed. As far as I know, they no longer use those, or at least I've never seen a post saying how exactly you leave a tag.
It also says you're supposed to leave a tag if you modify a post, like when I posted a long link before I learned how to code a URL, but it messed with the page width. I don't remember if it was you or Hoov that split it, but they left a note. It's the polite thing to do, and we did it at Blue too. <<likes to rhyme >>
And I wouldn't say I enjoy other people's mistakes as much as I like having fun. I'd like to think I'm just as quick to make fun of myself if I screw up (see signature). It depends on the board and the poster. For example, when you say "to much", it should be "too much", but I'm not going to point that out to just anyone. I would point it out to you, though, just to goad you into a response.
Two is a number, to is an action, and too modifies a quantity, like too much. Too can often replace also, too.
Splendid use of the apostrophe in "folks'" though. I'm going to assume that your "to much" was simply a sticky "o" key, and as a touch typist like I am, you didn't notice it and spell-check didn't pick it up, so forget everything I just said. Sorry for wasting your monitor ink.
I was actually trying to get this thread back on topic. With Femme asking where Gnomie (aka Save__The_Gnome) and Peggy were, I was concerned because apparently some Gnomes in Australia have, well, met untimely demises.
Such a sad event.
