Hello shaun13,
The AVG Virus Vault stores files suspected to be contaminated by a virus. In the Virus Vault the files cannot harm your computer, nor can they be used by a program.
You can choose to heal, delete, restore, or do nothing with the Virus Vault files. See the AVG Help file for details.
I suggest trying to heal the files. Files that cannot be healed and that you are sure are not essential to one of your computer's programs can be deleted. Files that cannot be healed and that are needed by your computer will eventually need to be replaced if you want to have full functionality of the affected program.
