General system info:
P4/512mg/80 Gigs/Intel graphics/
LAN Connection through D-Link hardwired router d-l 604 (updated firmware)XP ICF (incoming only)
xxxx.broadband.rogers.com/Pop3 #110/Smtp #587
Sea Monkey 1.1 ONLY used for browsing. IE not used.
All remote anythings disabled, net bios, printer sharing etc. same.

XPPro SP1 & many hot fixes/ OE6 2800 1103?/ Messengers shot!

All scans w/ AVG AV & AVG ANTI_SPY 7.5 /Spybot/AdAwareSE/Housecalls/Blacklight Rootkit Revealer
show completely clean. Nothing new or unusual in HJT check.

Note: During install of AVG, ALL software protections listed below unbooted. All fully updated as of this date(today).

Spybot1.4 S&D with Tea Timer & Bad Download Blocker (host file) Immunized, AdAware SE 106r w messenger killer add-on,CCleaner (Current)

Very Strange: Thought past problems w/ getting AVG to scan & certify all outgoing & incoming mail were solved months ago. Apparently NOT.

I recently sent my daughter (also AVG 7.5 ) an E-Mail with 7 JPGs attached. I watched the scanner pop-up and run up to 100%. Then go down, all seemed normal.
CC'd copy of same to myself at my Rogers (ISP) addie. Neither showed outgoing cert. but both had incoming cert. I watched incoming pop-up.

Upon looking at e-mail log (see below) I noticed that post suddenly instead of sending via SMTP#587 as other posts had (587 correct port) it had reverted for one post to AVG default Port #25!!!!

AVG set to scan & certify ALL mail (Both incoming & outgoing). Not only w/attachments.
Since is already being manually redirected via 127.0.0.1 to Port 587,
what can be done to prevent this slippage to default port & non certification?

Is this some flaw needed to make 7.5 Vista compliant? Sad
Thanks in advance for your wisdom!
