Just thought Id introduce myself briefly. Im fairly new to computing but Ive been training at the MRU since last August and hopefully soon I can join the fight against the nasties. Im hoping to learn more here too.

Ive signed up but who is Red? Im not sure how much help I can contribute as this is a family computer which isnt on for great lenghts of time.

Hello Mac! I am Laura and am a new Castle Cop Convert! I love it here even though I know zilch about computers other than "this is the off and on" button! Everyone is wonderful here! I've been working on fixing my computer in another forum - ok, Markamus is working and I am just following directions, but THAT is work to me! I'm a housewife in Florida FREEZING right now as the temperature has DROPPED to 61 F!! Welcome on board! Laura

I admit it - I love the snow! I lived 15 months in New Hampshire and I loved every minute of it but one - the night my eyelashes froze! One time as a little girl I did have penis envy - I had 5 brothers and I wanted to be able to pee while standing just like "the guys!" So I tried very hard one time - picture a teeny weeny skinny tom boy trying to aim with her pants around her ankles - I wound up peeing EVERYWHERE but in the toilet! How discouraged I was! I've since accepted that I am of the superior sex! Laura

I think I'm the "Red" Gnomie is talking about. Well, I'm pretty sure of it, since I don't think she knows any other people that answer to the name of Red and run the folding forum at CastleCops. weee

Your computer doesn't have to run all the time to help, every little bit you can contribute is welcome. If it's on a few hours a day, you will be able to help save lives. That's how I got started folding. It's a good cause.
