Sure looks enticing ... maybe worth a look as opposed to drupal? This would be bleeding edge of course.....

Better yet, switch to Vbulletin. Since Vbulletin is a paid script, its not as targetted by hackers as phpbb is. Also, there are hundreds of modifications available for it (far more then there are for phpbb). It's also easier to install modifications, as the latest version uses a plugin based system, and templates are stored in the database.
I've used phpbb in the past, and for the past 2 years ive used vBulletin. I would never go back to phpbb, that's how good vBulletin is.
