Basically I've been having problems getting them to work together right, they did to start with but have started becoming worse lately, the first issue was every time I booted I had to grant permission for it to start, a bit of asking around found that activating the admin account and installing from in there got rid of that, problem is lately it no longer starts in the normal account and to make matters worse the right click option has disappeared, I've tried reinstalling several times but have got nowhere fast, any suggestions on getting it to auto start in the normal account without the need to grant permission and get the right click option back ?
Running vista ultimate 64bit.

I realize this is an old post - but I just installed Super AS Pro and it asks me not once but *twice* during boot to grant it privileges. Perhaps it is something that they changed in the program itself that is now causing these UAC prompts? _________________

No idea about that, but I can tell you if you enable the admin account and install it via that account then the UAC doesn't affect you in the other account, just remember to give the admin account a strong password, it was the only way I found round the permanent nag screen every boot.

That's ... weird.
Installing something via the built in 'Administrator' account prevents UAC prompts?
Then, in theory, that program is not installed correctly - at least, not the way *M$* wants you to have it installed. I wonder what ramifications that will have.... _________________

Not sure about that., my understanding is not that vast, but thinking logically thew program needs admin rights to run, installing it in the admin account gives it these rights (thats my guess), and as during the install you grant it to be for ALL users my guess is that this satisfies the system which stops the nag screen, it's only my thoughts, I couldn't say this is right, but it's the only thing I can think of, the makers haven't replied to this same query on their site so I can only guess.

That was my reply above, I'm finding this the most awkward board to navigate that I've ever used, I appreciate the need for security etc but it's just taken me 20 minutes to get this far, and the codes are so unreadable at times it's impossible, I have seen other set ups that allow the image to be read out if you can't read it, wonder if they could incorporate that here as well.
Anyway the above is my limited understanding on this anyway.
