Woooo windoes vista. ehh it's okay. im not sure if my problem has to do with vista itself but i never happend when i had XP butt i have some files that i deleted in the Sharing Folder, but when i go to Recent Changes the files are still there. When i click them to delete them, it tells me to find the location...but i deleted them from their original location. I've tried Disk Cleanup...didn't work. Any word on how ot remove the files, well more like movies and music that i dont need?

Recent {xx} areas do not list *files* per se - IOW they don't contain the files themselves, but shortcuts to the files.

See http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/manageinfo/vistafolders.mspx for M$'s version.

The recent ares in Vista are analogous to most other programs' MRU (Most Recently Used) lists - they simply list the file that fits the category (program, document, etc) that was most recently used - but the list is a list of *shortcuts*.

So, the Recent File lists shortcuts for files that you have recently used - even if the files no longer exist.

Incidentally, that is also why you get the 'find the location' - or, I should say, a dialog box that says "Windows could not find the file" with a button that says "OK" (or cancel) and a button that says "Search" or "Browse".

HTH.
