I own 2 year old toshiba laptop. I just recently did a system restore. But now my control panel is missing. Whenever I try to do anything like delete programs or set program access & defaults, this messge appears on the screen(This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.) I have no idea what to do because I am the system administrator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome to CastleCops!
Click start > run > copy and paste:
regedit /a "%userprofile%\desktop\check.txt" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies"
A file called check.txt will appear on your desktop. Open it and post its contents. _________________ Member of UNITE and ASAP since 2006
