I am not sure I am in the right forum but since the warning system involves installing hardware am posting here.

I wanted to try a new burning program so was looking at Alcohol 125. I downloaded to see what it was like but before I could progress I received a warning that it was not compatible with my system. So I immediately stopped the download.

Now I get two windows opening each time I boot up warning me about this new hardware my system is trying to install - one the warning about the driver not being digitally signed and the other is the wizard trying to install said driver.

I close both windows but have failed to find a place to keep them from opening all the time or to keep my system from attempting to install this program driver.

Can advise?

Have you tried restoring to a time before your download ?.
