I would generously like some feedback on which cpu brand is better now..AMD or INTEL. With all of the new technologies out on the market now, such as Hyper threading and SLI, which CPU proves to be the most worthy?

I did not specifically say dual, single, or quad core because we all know what's faster, however, you could run a Pentium D 3.0 GHz processor with all the processing power (single core) and only have a L2 cache of 512k (remember these 1st gen cpu's?).

Generally, when a CPU outperforms, consumes less power, and generates less heat, it is considered a better CPU and Intel gets to make that claim. There is nothing wrong with AMD, but the only area they come out ahead now is in price.
