I have a Vista machine directly connected to a Brother printer.
I also have two XP machines connected to the same router (one hard wired & one wirelessly).
I can't figure out how to network the XP machines to the Vista machine for printing! I've tried adding a printer and setting up an office network, neither of which worked.
Please help! And thanks in advance!

Hi
Do you see the Vista machine from any of the XP machines?
Do you have File and Printer Sharing enabled on Vista?
Is the Vista printer shared for network access? _________________ IT Stuff

Hi
1. I can't see the Vista machine from the XP machines.
2. I do have File/Print sharing enabled on Vista.
3. The Vista printer might be shared, but I'm not certain...could you please refresh my memory as to how to do this?
Lastly, on the XP machines, when I go to add a printer, it can't view anything on any networks (other XP machines, wireless printers that my Mac finds, etc.)...
Thanks again.

Hi
You can't add the printer configured on the Vista machine if you can't see the vista machine itself.
Do you have static IPs configured for each computer or do you have them DHCP enabled? _________________ IT Stuff

All the computers need to be on the same workgroup, and all must have the same uname, and password.
